Seahawks Go Down to Cardinals, 23-20 in Overtime

With an average game from Tarvaris Jackson, the Seahawks were edged by the Cardinals, 23-20, at University of Phoenix Stadium.

Jackson completed 21 of 35 passes for 222 yards, one touchdown and one pick. John Skelton finished 22 for 40 with 271 yards passing, one touchdown and one pick for the Cardinals.

Leon Washington gained 78 yards on seven carries with a score in addition to two receptions for 12 yards. In the third quarter, he made the most of an opening for a 48-yard score. Ricardo Lockette snagged one ball for 61 yards with a score.

The Seattle defense gave up 131 yards rushing and 257 passing. They sacked Skelton two times.

Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald was impressive, churning out 149 receiving yards. Running back LaRod Stephens-Howling also put together a noteworthy performance with 93 rushing yards.
